Harvest Fellowship Church is an Executive Member of Trinity Fellowship Association of Churches (TFAC), in Amarillo, TX. Before the beginning of time, God had a plan, a purpose, and a destiny for Harvest Fellowship Church (HFC). Harvest Fellowship Church is proud to proclaim that The Lord Jesus Christ is the Head of their church, and their complete loyalty is to Him! It is their prayer that everything accomplished at HFC will bring glory and honor to His Name! Since the humble beginnings of HFC, God has been faithful to HFC in remarkable ways! The HFC family is very grateful for the blessings while looking forward to the exciting things He has in store for the future! The construction of HFC's new worship facility began in November, 2006, and the first service, upon completion, was held December 28, 2008. In March, 2003, because of the blessings of the Lord and the continued growth of HFC, 8.11 acres of land located South of Leedey, with State Highway 34 frontage, was given to the church to build on. After completing the renovation, the first worship service in the building was held February 25, 2001. The building needed lots of repairs and remodeling. Harvest fellowship is composed of undergraduate and graduate students that want to know and understand about Christianity within the fellowship of large and. The building was previously the NAPA Parts Store. HFC quickly outgrew them all!ĭue to the blessings of the Lord and the growth of HFC, a vacant storefront building was purchased at 419 Main St. ![]() HFC started in April, 2000 with a few people meeting in homes and then in Pastor Mark and Jada's garage. The vision was to plant a New Testament Church that was healthy in worship, ministry, evangelism, and discipleship. In that miraculous moment of destiny, Pastor Mark was stirred with passion for the people of this area and received the vision for HFC (Matthew 9:36-38). On Saturday, June 15, 1996, in an instant, God birthed HFC in the heart of Pastor Mark Haney. With our new space we are able to offer more opportunities for ministry and to make better use of the resources the Lord have given to us. The next year we renovated the meeting space in the office building. Our first Sunday in the new building was May 24, 2015. ![]() Through this partnership Harvest was able to build using primarily volunteers and to form a long-term ministry partnership with other churches. For us, attending Harvest Fellowship has been great, and I look forward to the services because Im getting spiritually what I need out of a church. This is the first and greatest commandment. Harvest Fellowship was introduced to Lawrence Corley and Builders For Christ as they planned to build a worship center and education space on the Battery Park property. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. That fall they called Pastor Art Stafford and his family and he joined the staff as Student Pastor. They converted the livestock auction barn into the church office and meeting space and began developing the property. In 2006, Harvest Fellowship purchased 23 acres of land on Battery Park Rd in a miraculous deal with a private Christian owner. In 2005 Pastor Ronnie joined the staff as the Worship Pastor. For Gods glory and by His grace, Harvest Fellowship exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ who are growing in their love for God, their love of people. They began meeting at Carrollton Elementary School, where they would meet each Sunday morning for 14 years. Ronnie would lead in worship and support Pastor Randy in this new endeavor. In 2001, several families from Nansemond River joined them, including Ronnie Bunch and his family. Through the pages of her book, As I See It, and her devotional blog read nationwide, Cathe brings a distinctly feminine perspective to show how Scripture speaks. She is a Bible teacher and featured speaker on The Virtue Podcast with Cathe Laurie. Calling Pastor Randy Green and his family from North Carolina, they partnered with the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia to plant a church in Smithfield. Cathe is the founder and director of Virtue, the women’s ministry at Harvest Christian Fellowship. ![]() In the midst of his struggles, however, he found hope, forgiveness, and ultimate redemption through his faith in Jesus Christ. Nansemond River Baptist Church in Suffolk wanted the families around Smithfield and Carrollton to know how much God loves them.
